Search without a whole-drive index
The private preview searches chosen locations directly. It does not first build a permanent catalogue of every file on your drives.

Features
This is a development preview, with no public download or final release date announced here. Features and requirements may change.
Look inside supported files
Local AI content search explores supported photos and documents. Filename search remains available when you want to look up a name or folder.
Find the files taking up space
Large-file search lets you choose a location and a size range, then review matching files. A search does not automatically delete your data.
Discover exact duplicates
The preview checks file contents to identify exact copies, including files with different names. Edited versions and visually similar photos are not exact duplicates.
Review before cleaning up
Review selected files and confirm the action before supported items are sent to the Windows Recycle Bin. No permanent-delete fallback is provided.
Local processing
Files and queries are processed locally in the private preview. Current results stay in memory; connected search locations are required.
